If referred through your GP under the Better Access to Mental

Health Care Initiative, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates

for your sessions.

 

You will need to see your doctor for a referral letter addressed

to me indicating the number of sessions your GP

authorises (usually 6), and a GP Mental Health Care Plan.

You will then be entitled to claim for up to 10 counselling

sessions per calendar year.

A brief confidentiality statement will be provided at the first

session, and a more detailed policy upon request.
